In 2022, the Belgian label Stroom released an album with over 100 tracks. A debut album to be precise. It might sound overambitious—or like a bad joke—but it actually is pure gold. From experimental sound collages to dubwise explorations to the hazy sketch of a pop gem like “Battling Dust” (today’s song, by the way), Voice Actor’s Sent from my Telephone offers a wonderfully versatile and exciting listening experience from start to finish.
