Encouraging Words on one of Marsai Martin’s Fave Albums

Tyler, The Creator feat. Frank Ocean Where This Flower Blooms (2017)

Marsai Martin is, de facto, still a teenager and yet her career would make most grown-ups blush with envy. Martin wasn’t just one of the main characters in the hit series Black-ish, but she also starred in and produced two feature films and has voiced a variety of characters on TV and in movies. Being still in her teens, Martin obviously is an avid music fan. Among her favorite albums is Tyler, The Creator’s Flower Boy on which, according to the actor, he is “showing his different emotions.” One particular highlight on the album is Tyler’s collaboration with Frank Ocean: In “Where This Flower Blooms” the former enfant terrible looks back on his past and encourages his younger fans to just be themselves—something that, apparently, hasn't always been  easy for the rapper himself.
