Tane Runo RACES (2024)
The title of busiest airport in the world consistently goes to Atlanta, which has claimed this honor an impressive 24 out of the last 25 years. The reasons for this continued success are manifold.
To begin with, Hartsfield-Jackson, as the airport is officially called, has proven to be the most efficient airport in the world (passengers appreciate this efficiency as much as airlines, as an airplane only makes money when it's in the air). Furthermore, ATL serves as the main hub for Delta, one of the world's largest airlines, managing approximately 275,000 passengers daily. Finally, over 80 percent of the U.S. population resides within a two-hour flight of ATL. Thanks to the generally favorable weather and minimal airspace congestion, flight disruptions are rare compared to other major hubs like Los Angeles, New York and Chicago.
Of course Atlanta takes pride in its airport, which symbolizes the economic growth of the metropolitan region. For years, “Wakanda” (one of the city’s many nicknames) has consistently ranked in the top 5 for domestic net migration. People move to Atlanta because of the attractive job market, moderate rental prices (compared to NYC, LA etc.), cultural diversity and the mild climate, among other things.
One of these newcomers is Tane Runo, whose family moved to “The A” when he was a teenager. The Neo-Atlantan quickly absorbed the entrepreneurial spirit of his new home and has established himself as a music producer—having worked with Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, Usher, EarthGang and Baby Rose. As if that wasn't already thrilling enough, Tane Runo has just launched his own career with the single "RACES"—our song of the day.
