Take off with this Ultra-Hot Reggaeton Tune

Talisto, Ms Nina Noche de Verano (2017)

POV: You are on holiday, enjoying a pleasurable drink at an excellent bar. You have no appointments, no obligations, no invoices to pay, and work is just a distant memory. Your ex isn't even a fleeting thought and across the bar, someone keeps glancing your way. Why not take a chance and hit on them? Boom, it happens—you fall in love. And suddenly, you find yourself in a long-distance relationship (LDR).

This pretty much is the scenario of the story Stockholm-based musician Talisto and the Argentinian Ms Nina sketch in their ultra-hot reggaeton tune “Noche de Verano” (Summer night), which is, by the way, our song of the day. “Yo te miraba desde lejos” (I saw you from afar), Talisto reminisces and goes on: “Luego nos comimos a besos toda la noche” (Then we kissed all night long). Only to realize later on: “Estar viviendo en dos países tan lejos” (We’re living in two countries so far away) … (Full disclosure: We left out the juicy details 😅

Being in an LDR is a destiny shared by many: recent estimates reveal that 14 million people in the USA consider themselves to be in an LDR. Bad luck, right? Actually, not necessarily. While such relationships certainly present their own challenges—from concerns about fidelity to high travel expenses—people in LDRs often develop stronger bonds due to more constant and deeper communication compared to geographically less disjointed relationships.

Obviously, each relationship is different. But if there’s someone hitting on you while you're on vacation (and you're open to a relationship in the first place), you might want to try your luck.
