Copenhagen-based avant-pop duo Smerz, consisting of Catharina Stoltenberg and Henriette Motzfeldt, evoke all these ideas in their bittersweet, trance-induced track "Flashing".
"I don't / See you / Get close / All the things that I say that matter most / You don't / Expect me / To be alone," the duo opens the song—both tender and enigmatic.
