Fousheé still around (2024)
PEP was an all-female Jamaican reggae band in the 1980s. While their unique status as a non-male group in a male-dominated genre stands out, their musical impact was very limited. However, one notable legacy concerns their drummer, who passed her musical talent on to her daughter, Fousheé. Fousheé collaborated with Steve Lacey and Karriem Riggins to write and record our song of the day: “still around”.
