Aldona Orłowska Nie wiem (2018)
There is so much we don’t know. Looking back in time, our understanding of how things used to be is very limited. Lost records, vanished languages and biases in historical documentation mean that much of human history remains hidden in the shadows.
But this gap in knowledge isn’t confined to the past; our understanding of the present is surprisingly limited, too. For example, scientists estimate that we comprehend only about 5% of the total matter and energy in the universe. About 68% of the universe consists of dark energy, and another 27% is dark matter—both of which remain largely mysterious.

Even closer to home, the unknown persists. We may only grasp around 10–20% of how the human brain functions. And in genetics, we’re still just beginning to unravel the complex interactions within the genome.
If all this uncertainty feels daunting, take a moment to lighten the mood with today’s song: a dopamine-boosting Europop anthem by Polish artist Aldona Orłowska titled “Nie wiem”—which translates to “I don’t know.”
